Grateful for Clarity

This week I am grateful for Clarity....

No matter what is going on in my life if I go on a run and chuck on some Drum and Base I gain clarity.. my thoughts have to shout at me over the music and my motivation is driven by some serious beats.

This week I am grateful it is that easy for me... I come back from a 1hr run a renewed person I have my plans set in stone and I always have an overwhelming emotional connection to those I love during that run as I speak to each of them in turn and hear their thoughts (albeit my made up answers of what they would say).

I suck in thew views because lets face it they are always gorgeous in Sydney and I come back ready to take on the world.

Life is good with Clarity and I am grateful I have that. How do you get your clarity?

lovely lovely post - i have to say, whilst I'm not the fittest, I am learning to enjoy the power of a run. For me clarity comes with solitude...which i'll be posting my grateful post on about tonight! xx

I don't run, but I know the feeling you refer to after a good workout. Which (ahem) I should do more often.

I'm the same as you - but my thing is yoga. I can drag myself there feeling exhausted and brain-dead and return revived and ready for action. The best feeling. x

Those runs sound like an awesome ritual! Clarity... I think I get the closest from staring at the sky.

Yoga helps me a lot. Or just sitting in the sun with a coffee for on my lunch-break.
Clarity is so important. Its all about balance.

Love the use of drums and base - music works for me too and a long walk along the beach can do wonders.

Captain V has been battling a back injury for the last month and hasn't been able to get his fix of clarity via his afternoon run and it's making life a bit tricky....fingers crossed that the weather holds fine this afternoon and his shoes can stamp the bitumen.

Happy weekend Lovely and thanks for playing along with this first 'Post Of The Month' at the beach.

I have always been a walker. Works for me. Besides, my camera is ALWAYS with me and if I was a runner, everything I captured would be blurry. Heaven forbid! Visiting from Felicity's POTMC. Margie

Popping over from POTMC - such an inspiring post! I have had a few times of crazy clear clarity - life changing moments. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, it is really cool and right on. XOLaura
